LEAD THE CHILDREN

Deuteronomy 11:19

Instructions were given to the Israelites to take hold of and teach the ways of the Lord to their children.  This was not something that was to be done whenever the need arose. They were called to discuss these things all the time, from the moment they woke up until they went to sleep. 

Children, the upcoming leaders of this world, need to be shown that they are loved and that they have purpose.  God calls one generation to teach the next about who He is. The importance of this responsibility by parents, teachers, role models, and mentors is crucial.

This generation needs to know Jesus.

Not only is Christianity only one generation away from extinction but this world is spiraling into darkness and these kids need hope. They need to know they are loved. We are called to teach and lead every child, teenager, and young adult that God has brought into our lives.

It is our responsibility to show them the love of Christ and to guide them in His ways.

MAIN TAKE-AWAY:

Have the same heart for children as Jesus

PRAYER:

Father God, I cry out to you to please protect the children, those already born and those still in the womb. Lord, I ask that you raise up a generation that will boldly proclaim the name of Jesus Christ. I also ask that you embolden me with courage to make a difference by getting involved and being available to those you put in front of me. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.
